Justin Copeland

Justin grew up in Bartlesville,Oklahoma.  During his time there he played for Bartlesville Italia ’82, the premiere team in the area for most of his competitive/select years.  Justin also played for his local high school, Bartlesville High School, where he played varsity all four years, earning all-conference, the captains armband his senior year and leading his team in assists his senior year.  Following high school Justin played for the University of Central Oklahoma club team before moving to New Brunswick, New Jersey to play for Middlesex County College.  After moving back to Oklahoma Justin decided to join the United States Air Force; prompted by the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center.  In the Air Force Justin was a Chemical, Biological, Nuclear, High end Explosive Warfare Specialist.  Following his time in the service he attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University and earned his Associates in Applied Science.  He also began coaching for his local club, FC Bartlesville.  He spent six years there coaching all age groups.  He also spent three years at the same high school he attended as a player, but now as the assistant coach for the Boys Varsity and as the Head Coach for the Boys JV.
From there, Justin moved to Houston, Texas to coach for the USDA club, Texans Soccer Club in their main division, the Houston Division.  After five months and a few tournament wins with his Houston 04 and 02 teams, Justin was promoted to the Director of Coaching for the Texans Soccer Club Aggieland division.  Under his leadership, he built a player-centric program that created an enironment which helped grow the division by 80%.
