Richard Beattie

Richard is responsible for player development at the junior ages that will serve as the basis for the Pre-ECNL and ECNL Elite teams.  Richard will oversee the identification of players and ensure they are properly matched with the right coaches and training squads.  Richard has been successful in developing players and young squads that have later achieved tremendous success with several state championships and regionals as well as nationally and regionally ranked tournaments.  He stresses on building the fundamentals and skills that are key in the development of youth in competitive soccer. In addition, he brings to his teams a unique understanding of the psychology of players in the younger age groups. He is a supreme motivator, team builder and provides a positive atmosphere that is challenging and enthusiastic.

Richard played college soccer at the University of New Mexico.  He has been the Director of the Girls Academy for a number of years.  He has been Asst. Coach for the USISL Tulsa Roughnecks, holds a USSF National C License, an Advanced Regional Diploma (NSCAA) and National Youth Diploma (NSCAA), as well as a Dutch Course Diploma.
